有田焼の陶祖李参平の住居跡に開業した「李荘窯業所」。時代の移り変わりと共に、磁器彫刻の制作から、食器の生産へと変遷する。そして今、蓄積されてきた伝統と品質により、時代に左右されない美しいカタチを追求。新しいことに挑戦し続け、今後も更なる努力を重ねていきたい。古伊万里の復刻に果敢な挑戦を続け、古い文献を頼りに絵具や釉薬を開発し、古伊万里全盛の頃の文様を中心に制作しています。時を経てなお新鮮で、むしろモダンな古伊万里の魅力を白磁と藍色の染付で創り続けています。
Riso-gama (Riso kiln) was founded at the former residence of Yi Sam-pyeong, the pioneer of Arita porcelain. As time went on, their main products have been changed from porcelain sculptures to tableware. Now, they are pursuing contemporary beautiful forms with their descended tradition and accumulated techniques. They will make further efforts and continue to challenge ourselves to producing new products. Boldly striving to create a new version of Ko-Imari, they used ancient documents to develop colors and glazes and produce works focusing on patterns from the golden days of Ko-Imari-wares.Using white porcelain and indigo blue glaze, they create timeless, fresh and even modern versions of Ko-Imari ware.
